Chinese drywall to the agenda of the 3rd Biennial United States – China Consumer Product Safety Commission Summit

We have had some success.  Based on our efforts and the efforts of other victims of Chinese drywall, the CPSC on Sunday was quoted in the Times Picayune, a leading newspaper for the New Orleans area, stating that they have “added drywall to the agenda of the biennial safety conference with the Chinese government and manufactures.”  To see this article click on the link – http://tiny.cc/Qa40y.  This is a major development.  But we need to know what this means.  We need for the CPSC to demand accountability by the Chinese manufactures of this defective product.  The manufactures of this defective product need to avail themselves to the jurisdiction of a U.S. Federal Court and accept the verdict that is rendered.  If they have supplied a safe product, then they can have their day in Court and clear their name.  However, if it is found that they have created the largest consumer product disaster in U.S. History – they can be held accountable.  Make sure your voice is heard by the head of the CPSC, Chairman Tenenbaum.  Make sure they travel to China and secure assurance that these companies will be held accountable.
