Durkee Fights for Victims of Chinese Drywall – Challenging the Economic Loss Rule
On September 24, 2010, in a hearing against Knauf Corporation and Centerline Homes, David Durkee presented his arguments to Hon. Judge Glenn Kelley regarding a revision to a prior court hearing, in terms of the faulty construction and installation of Chinese Drwyall in multiple plaintiffs’ homes. Durkee challenged the court’s prior ruling regaring a petitioned economic loss rule, and also requested further expedition of other cases related to the entire suit against the Knauf Corporation.
Along with the entire team at Roberts & Durkee Law, David is intent on ensuring that all arguments by those impacted by this crisis are heard in a civil and organized manner in front of a court of law. Refusing to hear all petitioned arguments or undermining certain plaintiffs’ grievances is unacceptable to the entire population seeking compensation for collective losses suffered in this entire ordeal. David’s testimony and arguments in this hearing highlighted and championed significant considerations on why every case regarding this matter should be heard by the court, and given necessary recognition for the sake of all those fighting to repair the widespread effects and damages caused by the Chinese Drywall problem.
